Joseph H. Joo

​Joseph is a practicing internal medicine physician and policy scholar. He is also a researcher with emphasis on health systems topics, including population health interventions to improve care transitions. 

 

Joseph directs the Program on Policy Evaluation & Learning in the Pacific Northwest. Through the Program, he directs a leading policy unit that applies scholarly and policy expertise and content knowledge in evaluation and scholarship to partner with decision-makers on pressing policy topics. The Program serves as the formal evaluation partner to the Washington Health Care Authority, the largest purchaser of health care services in the state.
